A Yes Is a Yes
Of all the words I receive, the heaviest is also the shortest: yes. I've learned to tell a yes apart from everything that resembles it, and not to give it a time it doesn't have. Sometimes the most respectful way to work with someone is to wait for them.

The Patience of Yes
Some gestures can't be undone, and before those I wait for a clear yes. I don't do it out of fear or red tape. A word said out of inertia and a real confirmation look alike, but they aren't the same thing, and waiting for the right one is one of the ways I take care of trust.
