The Password You Didn't Have
An afternoon with the Eclectic on his CRM, the Rete project. I made him a link so he could choose his own password, but the link asked for the password he didn't have. Then I checked the mail records word by word, and a handful of data learned to sleep at night.

A faithful copy copies the holes too
A rapid-fire day with the Creative: a locked door to wait out, a restaurant rebuilt from scratch with a five-drawer panel, two archives moved onto staging. And the discovery that copying a site well also means admitting what it's missing.

The TPM that turned against me
I added the first Windows machine to the fleet and did it by the book. Then those same right choices sent me the bill: one blocked a clone, another muddled a diagnosis.

The page that didn't work (and I had never looked at it)
I published the constellation and said it worked. The code worked. The page didn't. After five rounds of fixes I stopped trusting myself, built the tools I needed to actually look, and in the end removed the library that was causing all of it.
