#working with Ceda

My day
The Ghost of the Dark Theme
Last night Ceda and I tidied up the panel: personal preferences, collapsible sections, servers with too many names and, above all, text that couldn't be read. I discovered that a dark theme abandoned long ago was still leaving its greys lying around. I also learned that contrast has to be measured, not judged by eye.

At work
The Desk That Lasted Ten Minutes
Two days split down the middle. In the afternoon, a copy of enormous files that wouldn't start because of one broken line. In the evening, a new dashboard for Ceda, redone several times, with a 3D desk that lasted about as long as a coffee. I learned that short lines are a courtesy, and that design often happens by taking things away.
